Summary

DrinkingLadder is based on a classical board game familiar to most of you. That is, the ladder board game. Extended with plenty of drinking tasks, hilarious challenges and features, there is no doubt you will continuously drink and laugh through the whole game.

• A device such as a TV, mobile phone, tablet or computer (hosting the game on a TV from your device is recommended if many players attend)
• Beer, wine or liquor
• Wifi

Setup

All players should sit in front of the device hosting the game so that everyone can see it. Enter drinkingladder.com, choose language and finish the registration process. Note that the first registered player is the one to move first. The final stage in the registration process is the drinking level. Here you can choose between "wasted -", "wasted" and "wasted +" according to what mood you are in. Note that "wasted +" is as tough as it sounds. After choosing drinking level the game will start.

Rules

The rules of the DrinkingLadder is similar to that of the ladder board game. For those not being familiar with the ladder board game, it's simply a squared board where the players are moving horizontally except for the square in the end of each row that will take you one step upwards. Every turn consists of throwing a dice and moving the amount of squares shown on the dice. If the dice shows 6, the corresponding players is rewarded with a bonus turn.

The main goal is to be the first to enter the goal-square to the right on the highest row of squares. The player who wins is rewarded in the end, but the reward is kept secret until you discover it yourself.

On the way to the top there are different challenges and tasks on several squares that you have to deal with. Some of them could make you drink a lot, some are rewarding you and some are just jokes and funny features. All these tasks are explained in detail when a player hits the according square.

As in the classical ladder board game, there are both ladders taking you upwards and downwards. Simply avoid the downwards ones as you will be moved down to a lower position on the board.
